The BMW 4 Series Takes on the Audi A5

When you're shopping for a luxury car, the last thing you want to do is spend inordinate amounts of time and energy researching every possible model out there. After all, one of the great joys of the car-buying experience is sliding into the driver's seat and taking a candidate out for a road test. But how are you supposed to decide which vehicle is worth driving? At Winslow BMW of Colorado Springs, we've done the hard work for you, detailing how the BMW 4 Series compares to the Audi A5. Read on to enjoy a quick recap of the results.

Both models are powered by sporty 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged direct-injected engines, but the BMW 4 Series teams its engine with an engaging 8-speed automatic transmission that out shifts the 7-speed found in the Audi A5. EPA fuel efficiency estimates are the same for each vehicle, but the BMW's larger fuel tank means that you'll need to stop for gas less often than you will in the Audi.

The BMW 4 Series offers an abundant number of standard features that either aren’t available in the A5, or cost extra to add to the A5. Given that the BMW 4 Series also features a lower Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price than the Audi, you'll wind up paying a lot more to equip the A56 with the same amenities that the BMW provides you from the start.

We think it's pretty obvious that the BMW 4 Series is the better choice by far. We invite you to visit our BMW showroom in Colorado Springs to take one out for a spin and see for yourself.
